Racing Rules of Sailing Addendum D

Regulations Covering the Conduct of Offshore Events that require Category 0, 1 or 2 Safety Certificates

Important Note: Organisers of offshore races should refer to the current version of Addendum D.  This addendum establishes a national and international calendar of sailing events conducted by clubs and organisations affiliated to Yachting New Zealand, in national waters and between New Zealand and another country.
 
Together with fulfilling other requirements the organising Club or organisation should pay attention to the following…

• Yachting New Zealand should be advised by 30 June in any year of the name of the Organising Authority and the planned dates of the event to be held in the following twelve months or as soon as the information is available. (This should be no later than six months before the start of the event.
• The proposed event dates shall be approved by KORC on behalf of Yachting New Zealand who considers the effect the event may have on other such events or national championships.
