Singapore Airlines Special Airfares

Singapore Airlines is proud to offer New Zealand sailors discounted airfares to over 60 destinations worldwide, via SQ Corporate, an online booking tool.  

To take advantage of these discounted airfares you will need to be a KrisFlyer member – Singapore Airlines frequent flyer programme. KrisFlyer is free to join and registration can be completed by visiting www.krisflyer.com

Once registered, simply email Beth Orton at Yachting New Zealand on reception@yachtingnz.org.nz  with your first, middle and last names (as shown in passport), date of birth, email address and KrisFlyer number.

Please note frequent flyer miles earned from any booking made on SQ Corporate can be allocated to any Star Alliance Frequent Flyer Programme, including Air New Zealand Airpoints. 

We will register you to the Yachting New Zealand corporate account and confirm your registration via email, also providing you with a three digit code that will be required when logging onto SQ Corporate and instructions that will assist you with searching and making bookings.

Dealing with excess baggage?

Yachting New Zealand has an agreement with Singapore Airlines to help sailors with fares and excess baggage.

These fares must be booked through Carlson Wagonlit Travel and only apply for flights on Singapore Airlines Carriages.

Excess Baggage allowance
Singapore airlines will allow sailors to have up to 30kg baggage but this must be booked through Carlson Wagonlit Travel prior to 48hours before the flight.  This allowance is only for flights on Singapore Airlines (if there are connecting flights on other airlines that airlines specified allowance applies).

Payment can be made by
- Direct Transfer into Carlson Wagonlit Travel’s bank account, details will be advised on booking
- Credit Card, a fee will apply
